The Art Teacher Drawing is a natural gift of self-expression. Everyone loves to draw if placed in a friendly, open, creative atmosphere. These are the kinds of surroundings that I offer students. In addition to just having a really good time, drawing tends to develop self-esteem and other perceptual and analytical skills for participants of any age. As an instructor, my goal is to get to know each individual's level of personal expression, and to guide each person's inner knowledge. I accomplish this by showing my students the simple basics of composition and form and fostering in each of them their individual, unique creativity.

Adult Beginners Are Very Welcome.
I accept students of all ages into age-appropriate groups.
Classes, individual and group, are offered in my private Woodstock studio.
Classes for private students and groups are ongoing.
More classes will open, as demand dictates.
Life Drawing Classes (advanced sessions, with model) are also available.
The materials you will need when your class begins are:
charcoal, drawing pencils and paper.
